A Hope Group

How do we help children with ASD and their families?

How varied should instruction and care be for children with varying degrees of ASD?

How can I improve my child's learning and quality of life?

As the parent of a child with ASD, I think I need support to be strong for my child.

WE OFFER ANSWERS AND HOPE

These are some of the common questions and dilemma's that we see. At A Hope for Autism we have developed an in-home program and resource center for families affected by Autism.

Children with ASD vary in their abilities to learn, communicate, and relate to others. Each child needs a specialized program for their instruction and care.

We also focus on developing a program for family support and training. We focus on using a child's interests to motivate learning opportunties.  We believe that learning should be fun as well as effective and efficient.

A Hope for Autism was founded by a mother and a therapist in an effort to provide an educational program that was effective, yet run with love and compassion. Our program uses evidenced based practices to support our learners.  We provide a team of professionals that work with the child and the family in order to provide the most cohesive treatment team possible.

Beyond all, there is hope. We look forward to having the privilege of working with your child.

Teaching Your Child through Play"

I tried to teach my child with books.
He gave me only puzzled looks.

I tried to teach my child with words.
They passed him by often unheard.

Despairingly, I turned aside.
"How shall I teach this child?" I cried.

Into my hand he put the key
"Come," he said, "play with me."
